Jacinta Madu, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC.
Dr. Jacinta Madu, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience providing care to individuals with diverse mental health needs. She serves as the lead provider at GOFAN Healthcare Services, where she is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care.
Dr. Madu has extensive clinical experience across multiple mental and behavioral health settings, including psychiatric emergency services, inpatient psychiatry, rehabilitation units, and outpatient care. This diverse background enables her to provide comprehensive, well-rounded treatment to individuals across the lifespan.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University in 2010 and her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health, from Walden University in 2020. She later obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Arkansas State University, where her scholarly project focused on enhancing mental health providers’ approach to medication adherence in patients with schizophrenia using Motivational Interviewing techniques.
Driven by a deep passion for mental health, Dr. Madu approaches care with compassion, empathy, respect, and humility. She is committed to helping individuals restore dignity, build resilience, and overcome the stigma often associated with mental illness.
Her clinical interests include the treatment of a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. She works collaboratively with individuals and families, fostering a safe, nonjudgmental environment that promotes healing, hope, and long-term wellness.
Dr. Madu is currently licensed to practice in Texas, Arizona, Maryland, and Washington.
